Baby Broccoli & Chorizo Pizza

Oven temp. 500 ℃
  • Fresh dough
  • Baby asparagus
  • Quality chorizo sausage
  • Mozzarella
  • Medium cheddar
  • Passata sauce
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • In order to make any of our lovely pizza recipes, we highly recommend getting to grips with proper dough making – trust us, your tastebuds will notice the difference and you’ll be using Roccbox to it’s full potential. You can find our basic dough recipe here.

    So assuming you’re ‘down with dough’ first stretch out a nice pizza base with a small lip/crust to help keep the toppings in place.

    Coat the base with a thin layer of passata or your favourite homemade pizza sauce recipe before popping on your cheese to taste. We recommend a few slices of mozzarella and a sprinkling of medium cheddar but have a play because not everyone likes things as cheesy as we do!

    We like to briefly steam the broccoli but it’s not essential – just be sure to trim any rough stalk off if there is any. Once it has been prepped just sprinkle a handful of sprigs over your base.

    Finally, remove any skin from your chorizo (its worth spending out on high-quality here) and chop up into small chunky slithers. Again, simply sprinkle them evenly over the pizza base and bare in mind that the more you add, the meatier and saltier your pizza will be.
